The coming of Stadplus

The coming of Stadplus Events Centre to the Itire, Ijesha and Surulere axis could not have been more auspicious. To be sure, it is only ironic that good event centres in the ‘sports city’ are so few. Apart from those marquees between the Eagle Club on Adeniran Ogunsanya and NEPA at Adelabu (near Fountain Heights), and the good old Peoples Club and Calabar Community Hall on Ajao, off Ogunlana Drive, there is a dearth of well-appointed centres for high-octane events  .

Complete with two high-powered generating sets, luxurious interior, ample parking space (sitting on two plots of land opposite the events centre), a well –furnished celebrant’s room and two complimentary cold rooms, it is every inch a 3-storey architectural delight.

Stadplus was unveiled with fanfare on 25 October 2015 by a representative of the Lagos State governor. Among the dignitaries present were both the Onitire and the Balogun of Itire, along with Nollywood star Yomi Fash-Lanso, who also doubles as the ambassador of the centre.

The Chief Executive/Managing Director, Mrs T. Borisade, promised that Stadplus would become part of people’s celebrations by adding greater value to their milestones in such a way that the event will be memorable for such a long time in their hearts.’
Stadplus is located at 3 Karunwi Street, off Ijesha Road.
